ARDC Charges Lawyer With Sex With Client

BEFORE THE HEARING BOARD:

The ARDC has charged a lawyer with having sex with a client (who was facing criminal charges) and then lying about it.  The lawyer was 54 and the client was 23 years old.

Again, someday there will be an appropriate case in which to challenge the rule against attorney sexual relations with clients. This is not that case.
