ARDC Charges Lawyer with making false and reckless statements about judges

BEFORE THE HEARING BOARD:

James Gordon Walker, 2014PR00132, November 5, 2014

The ARDC has charged a lawyer with making false and reckless statements about judges. The lawyer, James Gordon Walker, handled a wrongful death case for a client. The case apparently went badly when it was refiled after a voluntary dismissal. The trial court and appellate court held that the second filing was barred by res judicata. The lawyer then filed a complaint directly against the three appellate justices who ruled against him. The ARDC alleges that he made false and reckless statements about the judges. Walker accused the appellate justices of fraud and official misconduct in his filings with the trial court and the appellate court.
