WGIL 93.7 FM & 1400 AM Illinois attorneys get ethics guideline on medical marijuana – WGIL 93.7 FM & 1400 AM:

Last year I wrote to the ARDC about this issue and then recommended that attorneys not advice medical marijuana clients. Now it is easier to give legal advice to those who are in that business. Attorneys need to understand that marijuana remains a controlled substance under Federal Law and that there is some remote risk of prosecution if the lawyer’s advice goes beyond that of a legitimate medical marijuana enterprise.
