The Review Board upheld a recommendation by the Illinois Hearing Board that Paul M. Weiss should be suspended 30 months and until further order of court for abusing five female staff members. The Review Board affirmed a finding that the lawyer committed a criminal act (Rule 8.4(9)(b)). The Review Board rejected other arguments including the lawyer’s argument that he was denied due process because some of the conduct had been expunged.
Update: On November 17, 2015, the Illinois Supreme Court disbarred the attorney.
